The new service in the NBML’s image processing laboratory: Analysis of MR Spectroscopy
MRS data are mainly derived from a restricted area, and are represented as a one-dimensional signal in Fourier's space.
MRS data are mainly derived from a restricted area, and are represented as a one-dimensional signal in Fourier's space. These data can provide the concentration of various tissue metabolites, such as Choline, Creatine, NAA and so on.
This technique provides displaying the concentration of tissue metabolites as a non-invasive method and it is used to examine the compositions of tumors, necrotic tissues, and generally wherever information is needed on tissue metabolites.
