National Brain Mapping Lab Panel

At the fifth basic and clinical neuroscience congress that was held on 8 December 2016, Masters such as Dr. Ay (Head of NBML), Dr. Hossein_Zade (Science & technology deputy of NBML), Dr. Abbasian (Associate professor , Research Institute of Cognitive Sciences IPM), Dr. Nasr_Abadi (Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Shahed University), Dr. rostami (Associate professor , psychology Tehran University of Medical Sciences) and Dr. Yoonesi (Assistant professor School of new technologies Tehran University of Medical Sciences) introduce National Brain Mapping Laboratory to the audience.

At the meeting, Dr. Ay presented the NBML and its equipment. Then, Dr. Hossein_Zade provided a brief discussion on the MRI techniques to examine brain structure and facilities of the laboratory. In the following, Dr. Abbasian spoke about neural networks in the brain and identifying them with imaging and signal processing tools. And then, Dr. Nasr_Abadi gave a brief report on the introduction of the EEG and research applications.

Following Dr. Rostami lectured about uses of electrical and magnetic brain stimulation in the psychology and available system in the Lab. At the end, Dr. Younesi gave a short discussion about the quality of services offered and routine work in the National Brain Mapping Lab.
