Migraine is one of the most severe headaches that a person can have, many people around the world suffer from migraine headaches, and, there are different treatments for it.

In a new study in 20121, an article published in the Journal of Pain Research showed that transcranial direct electrical stimulation (repetitive tDCS) can reduce the intensity of migraine pain.

Therapies based on non-invasive brain stimulation have emerged as a promising treatment option for migraine management. The focus of this treatment is mostly based on the treatment of headache and less attention is paid to their long-term effect.

In this meta-analysis, which examines the data of 104 patients with migraine, it is stated that the use of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) reduces the intensity of migraine for at least 4 weeks. In addition to reducing pain, this method also reduced the number of migraine attacks that occur to a person.
