NBML held the two-day theoretical-practical course on brain mapping principles on February 21th and 22th, 2019. Dr. Mir Shahram Safari, Dr. Reza Khosrowabadi, and Mr. Mohsen Dadjoo taught this course. The following topics were trained at this course:
- Techniques of Electrophysiological recordings of neurons
- Types of functional neuroimaging
- Methods of the neural activity modification by physical, electrical, pharmaceutical, genetics, pharmacogenetics, optogenetics, magnetogenetics, and sonogenetics methods
- Modification methods of neural activity in human
- Principles of EEG, QEEG, and ERP
- localization of electrodes for brain data recording
- record and analysis of brain data
- applications of EEG, QEEG, and ERP
- Brain anatomy
- An introduction to brain mapping devices via a brain-computer interface (BCI)
- Clinical application of Brain mapping devices
- Neuropsychological assessments
During this course, a visit to the lab was also accomplished; the TDCS was also performed practically as well as the paper and pencil test.
