NBML held the workshop on machine learning and its application in neuroscience on February 20, 2020. Dr. Mahdieh Soleimani, the faculty member of Sharif University of Technology and Hossein Hassani, PhD candidate of Artificial Intelligence at Sharif University of Technology were instructors. The workshop was held on theory and practical sections as follows:

The practical section:

• implementation of learning methods and neural networks in the python environment
• solving examples of neuroscientific problems via python learning

The theoretical section:

• introduction to fundamental concepts and machine learning methods
• introduction to artificial neural networks and deep learning methods
