The third day of the third cognitive neurosciences summer school for college students was held on 12th September

The student committee of Iran’s neuroscience society with the support of the Cognitive Sciences and council, held the third cognitive neurosciences summer school in cooperation with the Exceptional Talents Development Center of Iran University of Medical Sciences, The national brain mapping lab, and the Cognition and Brain clinic; some of the country’s most prominent figures in cognition and neurology were present at the event, there was also some practical and group activities and some related socio-cultural programs which the third day of the event was held at the national brain mapping lab.

there were some professional classes on subjects like: human brain dissection, cognition and sense, wake and sleep neuro science, mind philosophy, learning and memory, thought and language, decision making and Executive function, cognitive modeling, consciousness and attention, social cognition, neural diseases, cognitive rehabilitation, brain mapping, neuroscience studies, and teamwork with the neuro science approach.

Furthermore, in order to evaluate the quality of the summer school’s impact, some assessments were performed of students both before and after the school.

The goal was familiarizing the students with the new cognitive technologies, improve teamwork and Interdisciplinary thinking with the emphasis on performing practical projects.
