A wearable electrocorticography system (ECoG) for neural signal registration from brain cortex was designed and constructed by national researchers and specialists in the circuits and systems laboratory of the K. N. Toosi University of Technology.

Mr. Amir Masoud Sodagar, the board member of K. N. Toosi University of Technology said that in implementation of this research project, an eight-channel electrocorticography registration system was designed and developed for communicating with neural systems. This technology can be used to register activities from cerebral cortex.

This researcher said that the design and development of a system which could be used by neuroscientists to register the electrocorticography signals as well as training researchers for sampling this kinds of systems are two main goals of developing this research project.
