The skill training seminar on the brain mapping for the pediatric neurologists, September 2018
The 5th ISBM side event was held by NBML in collaboration with the Iranian Children’s Neuroscience Association with the aims of familiarizing the researchers of this fields with each other and discussions in order to develop their skills.
The 5th ISBM side event was held by NBML in collaboration with the Iranian Children’s Neuroscience Association with the aims of familiarizing the researchers of this fields with each other and discussions in order to develop their skills.
This seminar was initiated with the speeches of Dr. Ay, the head of NBML and Dr. Ghofrani at the opening ceremony on September 27, 2018. Among the number of 40 pediatric neurologists participated in this seminar, some had lectures. The sequence and subjects of lectures were as follows:
- Dr. Gholam Ali Hosseinzadeh: introduction to NBML’s facilities for children’s brain mapping researchers.
- Dr. Mohammad Ali Oghabian: Neuroimaging in children’s epilepsy
- Dr. Mahmoud Mohammadi: the history of epileptology in childhood and its perspective in Iran
- Dr. Reza Shervin-Badv: children’s epilepsy semiology and its importance
- Dr. Mohammad Javadzadeh: localization and its importance in children’s epilepsy
- Dr. Mohammad Barzegar: the role of LTM in clinical decision making
- Dr. Bahram Yar Ali: the injuries and challenges of LTM in childhood
After the lectures, participants visited the various NBML departments.
