The research workshop on the rTMS methods in treatment- the 6th ISBM side event

NBML held the workshop on the repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in collaboration with the Atieh Derakhshan Zehn group, taught by Dr. Reza Rostami and Dr. Reza Kazemi on September 28, 2018. This workshop was held with the presence of 20 participants among residencies of neurology and psychiatry.

The aim of this workshop was to introduce rTMS applications in neural rehabilitation and psychiatric disorders for neurologists and psychiatrics. Through this workshop, participants are expected to get familiar with the TMS’s history and mechanism, TMS stimulation parameters such as frequency, intensity, as well as its facilities, safety, and TMS clinical application and motion threshold determination by the end of this workshop.
