The national brain mapping lab held the second Iranian brain-computer interfaces competition (iBCIC) in two parts, emphasizing the use of brain signals in rehabilitation.
Estimating run time was a new challenge that made the competition harder and more challenging in this stage.
The first stage of the competition was held in absentia on September 2018 and selected teams were announced as: Zehn Plus Sharif, Rayan, Kavoshgaran Dade, Misagh, Fannavari-haye Novin Oloom Pezeshki, Behin Tadbir, AMBCI, and Tirdad. Then, the teams were gathered on 26th September 2018 and competed in the second stage.
The results were judged by a panel of prominent university professors, and the final winners were announced as follows:
- 1st place: Zehn Plus Sharif, with the score of 0.6756
- 2nd place: Behin Tadbir, with the score of 0.5742
- 3rd place: Kavoshgaran Dade, with the score of 0.5607
It should be noted that winners of the competition will be honored at the second symposium on brain mapping updates, on October 11.
