Professor Kambiz Pourrezaei from Drexel University visited NBML on 2 November 2017

Dr. Kambiz Pourrezaei professor at school of biomedical engineering, Science & Health Systems, in Drexel University, visited NBML on 2 November 2017.

Dr. Kambiz Pourrezaei, PhD, is a Professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems at Drexel University and serves as a Principal Investigator and as an Academic Advisory Board Member of The Nanotechnology Institute. He has research interests in the areas of biomedical and pharmaceutical applications of nano- and micro-technology. He is actively researching near infrared (NIR) imaging of biological tissues for breast cancer and brain imaging. Dr. Pourrezaei has been instrumental in helping promote international partnerships and cooperation among Drexel University and other scientific institutes, so after visiting NBML, in a meeting with Dr Gholamali Hosseinzadeh they initiated to plan some collaboration and doing joint projects.
