The hands-on skills training workshop was held with the purpose of introducing the theoretical and practical fundamentals of fNIRS on 10th and 11th July 2018.
The hands-on skills training workshop was held with the purpose of introducing the theoretical and practical fundamentals of fNIRS on 10th and 11th July 2018. This workshop was open to a maximum of eight participants to be more effective.
On the first day, the procedure of fNIRS, and its implantations methods, as well as its applications and normal preprocessing methods, were taught by Dr. Zahra Einanlou. The participants were taken an exam at the end of the first day and acquisition of 75% of the test score was essential for participating in the practical section.
On the second day, signal record and working with the device was taught by Susan Kohzad, an expert of the fNIRS lab. In the end, the valid certificates were awarded by NBML to those who experienced both sections successfully.
