NBML Took Part in the 9th Iranian Symposium of Cognitive Neuropsychology (Support, Lecture, and workshop)

The 9th Iranian Symposium of Cognitive Neuropsychology was held by the Iranian Society of Neuropsychology on December 25-27, 2019, Tehran, Iran. Specialty topics of this event include emotion, memory, cognition, personality, rehabilitation, creativity, language and thinking, time perception, attention and learning, addiction, and so on. Dr. Gholam Ali Hossein Zadeh, NBML's deputy of research and technology, introduced the lab during his lecture.
In addition to its support for the symposium, the National Brain Mapping Laboratory conducted a workshop on neuropsychological computerized tests (CANTAB) and visual and auditory assessment of attention (IVA-2), as required by the researchers present at the event. Instructing the workshop was given to Dr. Alireza Moradi (Faculty member of psychology group, Kharazmi University and Director of Institute for Cognitive Science Studies) and Soroush Sohrabi. In this 4-hour workshop which was held on the 25th of December, history of computer tests, general familiarity with CANTAB tests, review of DMS, RVP, MOT, SST, IGS, CGT, IED, SWM, general introduction to IVA exam, its pattern and interpretation were instructed.
