The one-day seminar on brain imaging in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine was held by NBML in cooperation with Iranian Psychosomatic Medicine Association (IPMS), on October 9th 2018, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The one-day seminar on brain imaging in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine was held by NBML in cooperation with Iranian Psychosomatic Medicine Association (IPMS), on October 9th 2018, from 9 AM to 5 PM. In this seminar, that the focus was on the application of functional nerve imaging in psychiatry, 35 professors in psychiatry and other related fields and residents, participated.
Participation in this seminar was free for psychiatrists and their residents and had 3 CME credit for them.
The seminar began by speeches from Dr. Mohammad Reza Ay, director of the NBML, and Dr. Ahmad Ali Noorbala, head of the IPMS. Then, the seminar was continued by speeches from following speakers:
- Dr. Mohammad Arbabi: Basics of brain imaging in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine
- Dr. Reza Rajimehr: damages of Brain's gray cortex and perceptual disorders
- Dr. Mohammad Ali Oghabian and Dr. Amir Hossein Batouli: Brain structural imaging analysis in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine
- Dr. Elham Rahimian: Brain structural imaging in dementia and cognitive impairment
- Dr. Mehdi Tehrani-Doost: Use of evoked potentials in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine
