      - Background about early development of TMS and brain stimulation therapies

      - Modulatory effects of TMS on neuronal firing rates

      - Indexes of cortical excitability (ICI, ICF)

• TMS Safety issues and Protocols

      - A review of the latest (3^rd) clinical guideline

      - Introduction to TMS safety tables for selecting appropriate parameters and      

        protocols

      - Potential side effects

      - Applications of TMS in pediatric population and during pregnancy

      - Different TMS techniques

      - Introduction to TMS parameters (frequency, intensity, number of pulses, etc.)

      - Introduction to theta burst stimulation  

      - Introduction to motor threshold and its applications in TMS research

• TMS applications in psychiatric disorders

      - Some notes about three FDA approved application of TMS in psychiatric disorders (depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, migraine)

      - Off label use of TMS in psychiatric disorders
