National Festival of Brain and Cognition for students, April 2019

The National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents in Khorasan province, in collaboration with Hasheminehzad Highschool in Mashhad, and Science school of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, and National Brain Mapping Lab held the National Festival of Brain and Cognition on April 17 & 18, 2019. This festival was held to make the science of cognition and brain more interesting for students. The festival had two parts: educational and competition.

The educational part had the following panels:

• Methods of study in neuroscience
• Stereotaxic surgery on mice
• Visual hallucinations
• Sleep
• Artificial Intelligence and Mental Stimulation
• Psychological Disorders; Phobia and Stress
• Neural Flexibility
• Memory and Learning

And the competition was held in two parts: Poster designing and Development of Ideas.

NBML representor, Mr. Mohsen Dadjoo, participated in this festival to introduce the science of brain and cognition and introducing the NBML.
