Loghman Hakim Educational Hospital is equipped with Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES)

In order to do researches and to promote and enhance cognitive science, the research department of Loghman Hakim Educational Hospital is equipped with Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (tES), which was supported by the Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Council (CSTC).

This department has been set up in recent years and started its research and educational activities by holding workshops for scientists and to encourage students to work in neuroscience and brain mapping.

tES has implications in clinical and rehabilitation projects and according to positive results of using this method, nowadays a wide range of research projects are enrolled to identify how it affects the patients, how to increase its effect and using it to treat other diseases and neural-cognitive disorders.

Last year, six hospitals and academic centers have been equipped with advanced systems and instruments in cognitive science, by the support of the Cognitive Sciences & Technologies Council.
