The Design of a new brain Imaging device began

Hamid Latifi, manager of the pioneer group "Neurophotonic" in Laser and plasma research center of Shahid Beheshti University, said: "Research has begun on the design and construction of a brain imaging device using optical plates as well as endoscopy techniques by researchers at the institute to conduct more detailed studies of brain function. In this group, there is a close cooperation between the Neuroscience Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the Laser and Plasma Research Institute.

He added: "With support from Cognitive Sciences & Technologies Council and cooperation of researchers and professors, we are trying to provide the instruments and devices for science and research centers based on the commercialization plans.

Currently, eight research projects of design and build equipment and systems are underway in the field of "neurophotonics" at this university.

The pioneer "Neurophotonic" group at Shahid Beheshti University is the first research team in the country to localize the optogenetic technique and has now made significant strides in this area.
