Iran's Brain Mapping's Student Branch (IBMS) held a two-day workshop in fundamentals of cognitive & brain sciences on July 18 & 19, 2019. More than 30 people attended at this event which was instructed by Mohsen Dadjou, a Ph.D. researcher in cognitive and brain science at Shahid Beheshti University, and the manager of IBMS. Following topics were instructed in this workshop:
- Investigating the structure and function of the brain
- Introduction to cognitive functions (memory, attention, …) and their evaluation tools
- Practical work with tDCS and computerized cognitive evaluation
- Academic consultation and introduction to job opportunities available in cognitive science
