The first meeting of the Iranian Brain Mapping Students Branch’s neuro-engineering workgroup was held with the aim of construction and reformation of brain mapping-related devices and medical equipment on June 19, 2019 directed by Mohsen Dadjoo, the manager of IBMS and Parinaz Mohammadi, the secretary of IBMS’ neuro-engineering workgroup as well as some interested students in this field. This meeting topic was the review of the relationship between visual cortex areas, taught by Parinaz Mohammadi and a video clip about Open Warm project was also displayed. Holding international meeting in English in the forms of seminars, journal clubs, scientific free discussions, participating in national competition, holding beginner and specialized robotics courses in terms of bioengineering-neuroscience, making research and operational teams in the field of construction and design of medical equipment and related software, and the content production to include in the newsletter are among the aims of this workgroup. The next meeting of the workgroup is holding in July 2019, and everyone is allowed to participate in these meetings for free.
