Iranian researchers at the University of Tehran succeeded in constructing the virtual-reality machine supported by the Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Council so that it leads to improvement in the application of cognitive neurosciences assessment tests.

Mohammad Reza A.Dehaqani, the executive of this proposal, cited: “this machine provides the possibility of accurate record and conditions control and events that occurred in cognitive neurosciences assessment tests, hence, more accurate control on the behavioral responses.”

By developing this method, simulation of the real environment of subject animals is carried out, and we are observing, novel methods of recording and cellular imaging simultaneously with running cognitive tests. He also added: “this system is capable of operating in various environments and stimuli. Therefore it is applied to most cognitive neurosciences test.”
