The workshop on the principles of scientific research design and the right research method selection in human studies, designed for the audiences among graduate Ph.D. students in neurosciences, rehabilitation, psychology and psychiatry, medicine, biomechanics and bioengineering, and other enthusiasts was held at NBML with 25 participants on October 9, 2018.

The following topics were taught by Dr. Leila Ali Biglou, the post-doctoral in neurosciences at Northwestern University, on this workshop:

  • How to present reasonable and rational scientific hypothesis?

  • How to select participants in a research
  • How to choose the appropriate method for conducting a research
