The Eye-Tracker Lab at Shahid Beheshti University was initiated

The Eye-Tracker Lab with the purpose of achieving the most advanced scientific and professional methods for evaluating the function of the visual system was initiated at the Institute for Cognition and Brain Sciences, with the support of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Council.

The Eye-Tracker Lab with the purpose of achieving the most advanced scientific and professional methods for evaluating the function of the visual system was initiated at the Institute for Cognition and Brain Sciences, with the support of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Council.

With the efforts of researchers and experts, the research projects for the feasibility of improving visual attention in both healthy people and patients suffering from neurodevelopmental disorders, setting up experiments so as to study visual attention system, tools development, decision making and modeling the system of perception and attention as well as, the role of visual attention in neuromarketing is running at this lab.

These devices, as a brain-computer interface, serves for many applications in various cognitive sciences fields.

The Eye –Tracker device located in this lab consists of three software including, test design and stimuli presentation, preliminary analysis, and data display and extraction.
