Holding an international workshop on acquaintance with methods of electrical stimulation and its clinical and research applications, and its cognitive studies. June 2018.

The participants of this training course were introduced to the transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternative current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS).

On June 27th and 28th 2018, the international workshop on acquaintance with methods of electrical stimulations and its clinical applications and research, and its cognitive studies, taught by Dr. Reza Rostami (a professor of psychiatry at Tehran University and director of the Atieh Clinical Neuroscience Center) and Pro. Michael Andreas Nitsche (Scientific Director of Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors) was held and widely praised by the audience.

The participants of this training course were introduced to the transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternative current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS). After introduction on tES, its methodological considerations were reviewed. Utilization procedure of the electrical stimulation devices was exhibited and explained in the practical section. Thereafter, the strategies of clinical research and clinical applications were focused. Finally the designing methods corresponding projects and improving the neural function were concluded this two-day workshop.
