Two bio-signal acquisition devices have been designed and built in a knowledge-based company in Esfahan in order to expand research activities. This project was supported by the Cognitive Sciences & Technologies Council.

CEO of Rayan Mind Ware said: Rayan Bio-Amp 4, which is a wireless, quad-channel bio-signal recorder, was built to acquire and online process electrical signals of the brain (EEG), heart (ECG), and eye (EOG). This device is one of our products in bio-signal acquisition and processing. She says the acquired signals are sent to the main computer via wireless connections and are received real-time in Matlab, and added: the researcher can have access to the content of each channel and imply his own processing procedures.

"Active researchers in this company were able to design and develop Rayan EOG Bio-Amp, which is a dual-channel ophthalmic electrical signal recorder that can record eye movement in horizontal and vertical directions simultaneously," says Sima Soltani, the CEO.
