The Second Seminar on Applications of Brain Mapping in Cognitive Linguistic Assessment and Rehabilitation

The National Brain Mapping Lab in cooperation with the University of Social Welfare And Rehabilitation Sciences and Iranian Scientific Speech Therapy Association held the second seminar on applications of brain mapping in cognitive linguistic assessment and rehabilitation. This seminar which was held on December 25-26, 2019, and had CME credit went as follows:

First day:

• Dr. Mohammad Reza Ay, Dr. Ali Ghorbani (Initial speech)
• Dr. Reza Nilipour, Dr. Zahra Ghoreyshi (An introduction to language-brain relation and the application of brain mapping technologies in rehabilitation)
• Dr. Vahid Malekian (physical basics and applications of fMRI)
• Dr. Mahdi Tehrani Doost (An introduction to the basics of ERP and its applications)
• Dr. Reza Nilipour, Mahdieh Karami (Applications of fMRI in cognitive linguistic research and Interventions)
• Shaghayegh Karami (An introduction to fMRI data acquisition in brain mapping)
• Narges Sadegh-beigi (An introduction to physical basics of TMS/tDCS and its applications)

Second Day:

• Dr. Mostafa Almasi (An introduction to localizing different brain points in MRI images and its diagnostic applications in cognitive linguistics diseases)
• Dr. Zahra Ghoreishi (Application of brain stimulation methods in cognitive linguistic research and interventions)
• Narges Sadegh-beigi, Dr. Zahra Ghoreishi (An introduction to the function of TMS/tDCS and how to use it)
• Dr. Alireza Moradi, Soroush Lohrasbi (An introduction to neuropsychology tests CANTAB and IVA)
• Mojtaba Hajian (An introduction to the function of the EEG amplifier and how to use it)
