National Brain Mapping Laboratory’s Panel at 34th Iranian Congress of Radiology was held on 3rd of May 2018, at Milad Tower Conference Hall, Tehran.

The panel began with the speech of Dr Mohammad Reza Ay, the head of the laboratory, on the laboratory’s operation so far, the introduction of services and equipment, as well as the presentation of a comprehensive report on the promotion activities of the lab.

In the following, Dr. Mansoor Fatehi, secretary of the Iranian brain mapping Bio-bank explained the reasons for the need for such a bio-bank to be organized, and its applications and infrastructure needed to create it, and announced the expected time to reach this goal.

Dr. Abdollahi Fard explained the assessment of impact of musical notes on the brain with fMRI.

At the end, the attendees raised their questions, and the speakers were responding to them.
