The National Brain Mapping Lab (NBML) held a half-day, free of charge, workshop on "How to design and write a research proposal for international grants", in order to enhance researcher's proposal writing skills.

The National Brain Mapping Lab (NBML) held a half-day, free of charge, workshop on "How to design and write a research proposal for international grants", in order to enhance researcher's proposal writing skills. This workshop was held on January 8, 2020, instructed by Dr. Iman Mohammadzadeh, and the focus was on writing proposals for universities and international institutes such as NIH, NIMH, NSF, and NHS.

People, who finished following steps, were chosen to participate in the workshop, after evaluation.

  • Answer the following questions on one page:
    1. What exactly do you offer? Describe your goals without using technical words.
    2. What are the ways to solve the problem you want to solve today? What are their limitations?
    3. What's new in your method? Why do you think you will succeed?
    4. Assuming you solved the problem, who cares about it and what difference does it make?
  • Express the purpose of attending the workshop on one page
  • Sending the resume accompanies with all the things mentioned above, to NBML's email
